The National was an easy race for Erdmann. She just wanted to qualify and didn't push at the end.
Team Alberto said Erdmann has an Achilles problem thus to pushed back attempt for her Guess they are hoping a couple of days will make a difference but as I have been saying all along Hasay ends up getting the B forcing Erdmann to chase an A with a wounded paw.
Current USA w10000m team is Flanagan, Hasay and Hastings.
Why is my exact prediction not getting the rightful platitudes?
Here's a few more pictures.

Hasay waving to the crowd:
Her improvement this year is all Vin. Next year and beyond is AlSal.
Vin is big time and has an ego. I wonder what he thinks is AlSal taking credit after the whole private coaching thing while Rupp was at Oregon?
pacing was pretty erratic in perfect weather, just saying

Because your too frickin obvious and needy. Shut up.
Why exactly is it good that Hastings gets to go? That's a bizarre and, frankly, mean spirited remark. Of course, Erdmann might get the "A", which by your logic would not be good. But why?

"I wanted to try to get the 'A" for Tara but I was really close. I feel bad but I tried my best. I felt really good but am just still learning the event and get a little scared in the fourth and fifth mile.
I'm really proud that I get to go (to Moscow).
I just kind of fell asleep on the fourth mile a little bit. The big finish wasn't just quite there.
It was exactly like when I ran 32:06, I just had to close in 70 and I thought I had it (this time), it was really close."

Apparently there was zero wind.
This works out good really in the end as now Hastings will get to go.

hahaha!
I think Erdmann will get the A if her feet are okay.
Otherwise, she might not get the B, and the 1 second wouldn't make any difference.

Post of the night.
She missed the A by a hair.

I had read that they had to have 5 finishers for it to count. It sounded like the other fast girl dropped out and most of the pacers did. Did AlSal really pay 4 women to run a sub-45 min. 10k to complete the field?
There were people running like maybe 40-50 minute pace out in lane 4 early on.
You guys are harsh, Jordan did what she had to do. Now it's up to the other runner to do what she needs to. She didn't screw anyone... It was a 20 second PR!
My guess is if she ran 32:04 at Stanford she would have the B and not be here. So Tara would need the A standard regardless.

+1 First time where I followed page by page for the last hour. Thanks!
You must be young. This is what letsrun used to be like all the time before there was streaming of events. You had to go the messageboard to findout about anything.
It was more fun back then in some ways.
When I was coaching at Cornell, I always said it was more fun to not be at a meet (like sometimes we were split up) and to get phone updates on the races. There was time for imagination/intrigue.
I'm most surprised that old guy was able to hang with Jordan...
Props to the Baldo!!
Your prediction doesn't matter, because her goal was sub 31:45, so you were bound to be within a few seconds of the actual time if you guessed something similar. Geez, let it go. No one cares.
Predict a normal race where any pace can happen and it would be more impressive.
