Nice post Mr Geezer, pity all these drug cheats won't accept this basic truth.

then you clearly don't know anything about the medical field. and i refuse to turn this thread into a medical debate so it will end there. as for a worthless opinion, when it comes to performance enhancing DRUGS, i would think i know a thing a two. and if you don't believe me, feel free to ask your doctor, but make sure he isn't paid for by the pharmaceutical companies (dinners, presentations, etc.)
There is no such person! It is very rarely for a seasoned athlete to find themselves in this situation. How do I know that? Well, I know how a typical human being would react if someone made some false accusations to get them fired from their 1 million dollar a year job and have their professional license taken. Most of us would be livid with fury and anger and many of us would sue the person (if we could prove it) for destroying our livelihood, our reputation, our passion...and some of us would physically harm the culprit. You are going to "release a statement" when someone has denied you a millions in earnings and made you look like a fool in front of the world as well as taint your previous records no matter how this is resolved? Either these guys are cut from a different cloth than the rest of us or we are the gullible ones here.
