FLASH: American sprinter Tyson Gay says he has failed a dope test
"I put my trust in somebody and they let me down." Is this somehow related to him not working with Drummond anymore?
Sprintgeezer was right!!!!
To all of you that said that "Tyson Gay is the only clean sprinter" Please avoid making such definitive statements on matter such as this.
How does one have the 2nd best year of his career at 30 on a surgically repaired hip? Now you have the answer
How did the OP get the info? he must be a serious insider...
Just saw it on sportscenter. Tyson Gay tests positive. Sometimes I don't even know why I believe in track athletes' honesty and integrity. Either do it without cheating or don't do it at all.

Well I tried to point this out 5 min after the op dumped this trash here....obvious a troll as they come, imo.
*Official Retraction* :-)
Well done, op.
The BBC agrees.
who the F*** called this yesterday?!!??!!
The Letsrun MB is such an amazing news source. I love the rumors that get confirmed - thank the Brojos for anonymous posting!
Once again, LetsRun is the first to break the news.
Rumors of this nature people post here more often than not tend to be true.
Already has the BS excuse ready
Yes another cheating MF
I guess the brojos checked the IP of the poster and got a clue for who it was. Either that, or they got a mail from somebody with more substantial evidence.
To put it this way, if I started a similar thread, it would be deleted immediately.

What do you mean sprintgeezer was right? I remember he always thought tyson was the only clean one out there, unless he changed his mind recently?
Every sprinter under 9.80 and 19.50 is doped.
I'm Jamaican and even I'm not willing to NOT label the man a cheat until I hear what the substance is.
Calm the hell down and let things play out.
I put sprint in a corner (metaphorically) and he admitted that Tyson was suspect based on his performances this year, his previous health and the VCB connection. Most likely it was a pre season buffing effort before comps started

the fact that gay refuses to name the substance tells me he's doping
and got nailed
just posted on another thread about this, but you made me think with your comments. pray tell, why exactly would the B sample be ANY diff from the A? they are both sealed in the same box- (for those who haven't done this- I have- you pour roughly half your sample in one glass jar w/ a locking screwtop lid, and the remainder in a second, identical (except for bar code) glass jar. then you place BOTH jars into a cushioned box, and seal the box, ensuring that the number written on the box corresponds to the numbers on the jars.)-so why would it make any diff, as they BOTH would have had have endured the same conditions. sorry, but didn't make any sense then, doesn't make any sense now.

I guess I should have expected such stupid or at least uninformed comments here. Have you bothered to investigate that case. One summary statement is that the B sample was handled appropriate.y, kept refrigerated etc. The A was left in the car during warm weather over an entire weekend (and probably lacks an appropriate chain-of-custody as well, but was not in the file that I recall). Sent to the lab at least 72 hours late in those conditions. The file is available somewhere on the web if you want to search. There was a longish piece by an anti-doping guy of some repute who savaged the treatment of the sample. The B sample did what you want it to do when the A is unreliable.
