Super impressive race!!!!!!
Super impressive race!!!!!!
Yeah it was great, this kid has worked so hard to come back from injury, and keep injury free, he works his azs off in so many ways -- he really wants to get up in the 3:31 range.
He's absolutely dedicated -- really happy for him to win a race and maybe pick up a few bucks.
Wow, what a race!
He also beat the Olympic bronze medallist Iguider.
Kid's got a massive kick in the last 200.

Agreed.
It was a nice, strong kick over the last 100m for MacNamera, and there was clearly quite a lot left in the tank. It's good to see some success coming his way, especially after a disappointing USA's.
The steady progression he's enjoyed since turning pro is a testament to his commitment--though Mark Rowland deserves quite a few props, too. He doesn't get enough recognition for some of his coaching, but to slowly take an injured guy who was ~3:41 in college down to 3:34.00 over several years is impressive stuff.
My question is... who taught him those dance moves?
Maybe he was just dedicating a dance to #TheisenEatonWedding, or Kemboi's 6th place performance. Regardless, a great celebration, probably cuz Daft Punk was playing.
my question is -
how in the hell did he not make the final at nationals??
