Just came across an informative Runnersworld article on Solinsky:http://www.runnersworld.com/elite-runners/chris-solinsky-turns-to-the-roads-for-nowHe says he's in better shape than earlier (He estimates between 13:15 and 13:20) and thought about going to Europe but decided to focus on strength work here and run some road races.Wharf to Wharf, and Falmouth are definitely on his list. Maybe also US 20k and US 5k.

“We would have done a European tour had there been more options for racing,” admits Solinsky, who canceled the trip to Belgium. “It was kind of a waste of money to go there and run two races possibly, because after that, the options were kind of dry. We just settled on the idea of doing some strength work and keeping that momentum rolling. That’s what prompted the gear change” to the roads.
Seems smart to me. This guy certainly gets nothing out of spending money to run 13:15.
Solinsky also says he'll train with Tegenkamp for the most part, trying to build strength but once a week workout race specifically.
