Leo didn't make up much ground on Centro the last 100M. With an Olympic Silver Medal as proof, which is more than anything Centro's accomplished, Leo's better. But Centro's kick looked good. In the Olympics, Leo made him "stand still" at the end.

No he will not win Moscow. Medal maybe, but not gold.
I give 5% chance to win, 50% chance to medal.
Centro is the best tactical racer I have ever seen. Attesting his prowess was his ability to get fourth in the Olympics during a truncated year after undergoing major surgery. Injury and recovery is a key factor in track and field (see Wheating). This year Centro has recovered. He definitely has a better than five percent chance of winning. I give him a 35 percent chance.

Are you kidding me? If Kiprop is in form, Centro doesn't have a prayer if he's behind at the bell. If you're going to beat an in-shape Kiprop, your lead going into the final 150 had better be insurmountable. That won't happen if you try to out sit-and-kick him.
Centro closed 400m as fast as Kiprop and 200m faster at world's 2 years ago.
http://www.letsrun.com/2011/1500final-0903.phpHis weakness is last 100 meters. He can be positioned well coming out of the final turn but he doesn't have that extra burst of speed to pass or to prevent others from passing.

Centro has been The Man in the US for a couple of years now.
Very soon he will be simply The Man.
Except for last year when he wasn't.
His kick is viscous?
Matt Jr. looked very good and very fit
held off every guy that came up
with his new 1:45.x wheels and an ability to stay out of trouble? he is a factor in most races, Leo only looks like he can close down off absurdly show fractions so far, and still did not get there
This is possible -- yes. However, I'd put the odds at about 1 in 20.

Except for the fact that in the 2011 WC's and 2012 Olympics, he passed more people than passed him.
7-8 seconds behind Kiprop

You are mistaken. He is and has been The Man in the US for the last few years. Every 1500m man in the country knows this including Leo.
Soon every 1500m man on the planet will be referring to him as simply The Man.
Centro is about to get whipped...
