Downfall of Robby Andrews continues

Another major fail losing to a group of no names. Once again never in the race.

Time for Mr Andrews to start to think of changing coaching for next year and get away from NJ and get a total fresh start

People said that Andrews would be better off without Webb since Webb is a headcase and would harm Andrews more than help him, but notice that Andrews has been doing horribly ever since he and Webb split up (numerous DNF's, sub par times etc). His only claim to fame this year was an almost AR indoors for the 1000m which was a soft record anyway, but otherwise he's been doing terribly alone, and was doing much better with Webb

Whether it's training or his head, I hope he figures it out. And if he doesn't, he needs to change something. I don't think it's panic mode yet but I would think it would be by August if he doesn't snap out of it.

He looked terrible. Went out in 54 vs leaders in 52.x. Never in the race.

did you ever stop to think, it's not the coach but him? Andrews is the most overrated middle distance runner out there.

He's 22 and has run 1:44, 3:34 with only one season focused on the 1500. Imagine if he'd stayed in school: he'd have run those times as a Junior. How often does that happen?

Something's obviously up for him to be running slower now than as a college freshman.

He looks chubby. Time to act like a true professional and take care of yourself rather than hanging out at the jersey shore...

Not saying that Andrews should lose to him but Romaniw is the fourth fastest collegian this year behind only Greer, Loxsom and Murray.

Harris was an Olympic Semi-Finalist last year.

Yep, they are the worst so far. The last episode was freaking 12 minutes!

And theres nothing interesting.

Episode 1: He had 2xeasy runs + pancakes + pizza + sleep

Episode 2: One easy run + one tempo run we didn't get to see

He is more talented than all the athletes in the NCAA. He needs to move out of NJ and actually start training. Get a nutritionist. Get a strength coach. Focus on working hard. He has the talent to be an exceptional 1500m runner.

You'd think a sponsored athlete would make sure to do something interesting while a documentary/commercial was being made with him...

How about the downfall of Julius Mutekanga? 1:52 isn't good enough Mr Mutekanga. Consider yourself banished from Uganda.

Maybe we are reading too much into one race. He was in his customary last place after 1 lap. However, there was a little gap between him and the last guy. That means he would have to come from a little further back with the kick. Why put yourself in that place? I was expecting him to at least be breading down the neck of the guy in front of him. The guys in the front were opening a gap then the single file and then a little gap to him. That was as I (a casual observer) saw it yesterday and granted I don't claim to know how to run an 800.

Maybe he was trying to make the guy in front of him into a delicious veal parmesan, by breading his neck.

You know, because he's italian.

The kid really needs to re-examine his diet and lifestyle.

Are his estrogen levels too high? Is he getting enough sleep? Is he lifting weights like every good 800m runner should?

These are the questions he needs to ask himself.
