Why did Salazar take in Puskedra?
didn't he run a 61 minute half marathon? salazar loves potential marathoners.
Cain in 8th place just chilling. About 6:15 for her at 2000m
75's are 15:37 pace. I'm curious who else is running.
Group of 5 through 2400m at 7:30, Cain back at 7:34. I guess Alberto wants her to hold back?

Moser and Erdmann were also slated to run.

Come on Wheating get it together already. What is wrong with him? Sure its slight progress but he's been nowhere near his 2010 shape ever since that year. This is going on the third year of futility for him now, I was expecting him to be a constant contender on the world stage by now, he's such a talent but the last couple years has been pulling a Webb (albeit not nearly as bad)
So he gets a season's best by three seconds and you're asking what's wrong? I'd say Wheating is progressing nicely at this point. 1:46.85 is good. Yes he's not in the shape he was in during 2010 but do you really expect him to run 1:44 and 3:30 every single time he steps onto a track? Sure his standings as an international contender are something to be desired, but despite so many setbacks he has still made one world team and two olympic teams, and that says something about his potential. Staying injury free is difficult in this sport, and I envy those who can remain injury free throughout their running careers. If he can work out his injury issues he'll be right where he needs to be in due time.
