That is also quite a feat, to have shattered the 10,000m world record by 91 seconds. That Farah is no joke.
Yeah, well I heard that Noone kicked his ass in the same race.

Awesome grasp of how to compose a sentence there, sucker.

You're clearly too stupid to realize there is not enough time for him, or any of the USA 10k guys to recover, train, and taper for USA's.
Do you ever just stop and think?
Never mind that was a rhetorical question.

Yup.
Galen "I Duck" Rupp: back in inaction.
It's going to be 26:42 FTW for K.Bekele and then T.Bekele for 2nd place.

I think its intelligent to generally accept that a healthy Bekele is going to beat Farah in a race paced at 13:18 for the first 5k; but quite frankly, a healthy Bekele can sit and kick better than Farah. A healthy Bekele wins any 10k, regardless of the pace.

Former pacer for kenenisa told me over the winter that he is focused on getting back his medals on the track.. tariku posted on his facebook a sick looking pace they were running on the new track.. stating this is the first day of track training.. then disappered from facebook...
these guys have been busting hard workouts and are ready.. while al salad bar has been telling his guys to take a week off... makes no sense... they will pay for it...
base is loaded.. then he will take it up a notch in moscow..
Bekele bros are pissed after Salazar snubbed them. They practically bowed down and kissed his feet when they begged him to coach them last year. Now after crawling away with their tails between their legs they are back with a vengeance.
Ken and Riku Hit the Track part deux: This time it's personal.
I would be really blown away if Bekele ran 13:18 and then finished under 26:40.
But here's my question: has a world class/champion distance runner who dominated the sport ever fallen from the top and then come back to dominate again? On the track I'm talking about.
I don't think that happens, so I really doubt he will run super-fast. I feel like there is a little Webb-hopefulness/desperation going on here, that Bekele will return to his old form.
Maybe under 27, but not by much.

Kind of, because it's very hard to come back from. And his WR's were 9-10 years ago, correct? Has anyone ever been at the top that long, while not moving up in distance (Geb)?
I'd love to see him run under 26:30 and get back there, that would be truly amazing, but it seems like a real longshot.
