Agreed! Great post!
He's the fastest man in the world now. You can stop whining about how old you think he is.

would you rather have someone with charisma like 'ridiculously photogenic runner guy' be our ambassador in the 5,000 at the next Olympic games?
With Grebrihwet's time, I think he could take a top 5 spot at NAIA indoors. He might be able to slip onto the podium with the race of his life. I repeat, might.
I'm going to throw out a prediction: you either go to school and play sports, or you went to school and played sports like football and basketball and couldn't run worth a dime. All the people I know like that are jealous of runners and aren't even worth a dime at the sports they play. You are probably one of those guys who thought a mile was a long way. So f off with all your calling runners nerds you piece of crap.
1. No way Bolt is / was clean
2. No way this guy is 18.
3. No way Mohammed Mohammed Aman is 19.

In fact, no way Mohammed Mohammed Aman is even really named Mohammed Mohammed.
He looks like the favorite for worlds. It's so hard to predict trajectory. Chore was once talked bout as the next Komen. alimerew was supposed to be the next great Ethiopian. dG and HG have the best shot in a long time.

I can't see him as "the" favorite. A favorite maybe, but not the clear one. In my opinion he hasn't done anything to show he is better than Gebremeskel, who Farah was still able to handle in London.
Remember, Gebremeskel closed in like 54 or 55 off of his 12:45, which is a stronger performance than 7:30. The one thing that is a factor though is that Gebriwhet has clearly improved a crazy amount in the last year or two, and may be quite young also, which opens up the possibility for him to continue having large breakthroughs and improvements...which could change everything.
As it stands now though I expect Farah, Gebremeskel, and Gebrhiwet to be the big threats in the 5000m in Moscow, with Rupp a potential factor as well, probably in that order. Need a few more races though to really see where everyone is at though, and of course Gebrhiwet's progress is the big wildcard factor here.
HE CRAPPED ON THE FIELD?
Is that legal? Shouldn't he get a ticket for that or something? Also... grosssss.
But think about how much faster he woulda gone if he hadn't had GI issues!
did he have a plastic bag to pick up after himself? if not, definitely fine him

How is he the fastest man in the world now? Rupp ran faster indoors (he was tired from running 3:50i and jetting across the country three times within the previous week and a half when he raced Geb-W) and Farah has been unbeatable since the 10000m at 2011 World's.
The obvious nickname: 'progeria'

Did Rupp drop a 53.x final lap in that 3000m?
Just so you know there is a difference btw indoor and outdoor!! More recently Repper just run a 3k outdoor in 7:46 correct me if Im wrong vs Grebrhiwet's 7:30 .

Just so you will know there is a difference btw running for a fast time and running to win. Recently Rupper ran 7:46 to win. This was basically a tempo run for part of his workout.
Please get a clue about the sport. Or just stop posting. Either way works.
What an animal! haha
I think LM makes a good point in bringing up Gebremeskel. Here is a guy who won the fastest 5000 last year with a good kick.
Gebremeskel ran a poor tactical race at the Olympics, but watch the video of that race and check his speed in the stretch for the silver.
If he can get in better position and kick like that, he wins. And, he has to be one of the hungrier top 5000 men in terms of really wanting a gold for his medal collection. So I'm picking him over Grebrhiwet in Moscow. Let's postpone his coronation as the next Big G.
Of course, it depends on who is really peaking properly, and how Mo is doing.
