he was an all star that year. "nice" means a utility infielder. bo was jacked as a teenager and doing unbelievable feats back then. do you think steroids found their way to rural alabama much less to a dirt poor kid? compare him to toothpick thin mcgwire his rookie season or wiry bonds pre roids. there are some people who are natural freaks of nature and bo was one of them.
