Ritz and Puskedra in the 3k, Rupp and Centro in the 800.
Races should start three hours earlier to be more east coast friendly. Fvcking west coast bias!

It's called "Oregon Twilight", not "Oregon Afternoon".
The wind also starts to die down in early evening. Mid 70s and very breezy in Eugene today.
Eugene doesn't get calm evenings until mid/late summer. The wind just shifts from south to north.
Better a south wind than a north wind, on a track with the s/f on the south end, because the headwind hits after 300 instead of 100.
Though temperature in the 60's is also better than the 70's for a team that's all about distance, so evening is still better.
galen rupp switched to the 3k with ritz.
Thank you!
Bruce Willis bursts into a school classroom with ketchup all over his face, "I HAVE HAD A MCDONALDS"
he yells, & runs away giggling

I've lived in Eugene for 20+ years. A warm mid-70s spring day like this is similar to summer. All week we have had windy afternoons and calmer evenings.
Don't give up your day job to become a weatherman.
It makes me happy that this is not on Flotrack Pro. Thanks Oregon and Pac 12 for improving the sport.

Damn straight.
The kids and family half lapper is great!
This is awesome. Thanks, man.
Bummer about the switch. Unless he is going to try for something crazy in the 3k, watching him in the 800 would have been a lot more fun.
Wonder if he will come back in the 800 at all as a speed add-on.
is this true? wrote:

Alberto told Ken Goe that Rupp's hamstrings are a little tight, so he is running the 3,000 instead...probably more as a work out than anything else.

How does this improve or not improve anything about the sport? I wish one of you cheap people would explain this concept

Free = more accessible to more people.
It's not just the free, it is the not having to deal with flotrack pay's errors.

Because running fans are not pay per view boxing fans, they are watch for free fans just like basketball, football and baseball fans.

It gives people an opportunity to watch the sport which is kind of important if you want more fans. Only a few nuts will pay to watch Flotrack Pro and they are not enough to if track is ever going to become more popular. No one who is just getting interested in track will put up the money that Flotrack wants. This is not good for creating a larger fan base.
Now go back to your office at Flocasts.
Will someone give some live updates for those of us who only have our phones? Thanks.
