I don't know if anyone noticed Alberto talking to Jordan's parents for quite some time after the race? Then, did anyone notice Jordan also talking to Salazar after the race? Pretty obvious she's onward to the Oregon Project. Perhaps I am wrong - but I don't think so.
If she was from Colorado or Wisconsin or, ... other places not near the UO campus, then it would be a more likely interpretation. However, these people know each other on a first-name basis. Maybe they are talking about Mary Cain and what it is like to be in that high school top runner spotlight and how to avoid the glare and the weirdos, ...
Yes true! Jordan had done so much for the sport of running...... words cannot describe. It will be interesting to see who gives her a shoe endorsement - Nike? New-balance? Adidas? etc.? Her personality and charisma makes her very popular among the young (and old), and she serves well as a popular role model among the young (and old). She has been and is quite the most interesting welcome and addition to our sport in quite some time.

Martin was well past his Oregon days when he ran 2:09 at NY. Daniels also coached Lisa Martin and Jerry Lawson.
So no one world class in decades.
