That just means you've been dumb for a long time.

Oh and btw:

3 19 Tyler Mulder Nike 3:57.37
4 1 Robby Andrews adidas 3:57.82
Chew on that.
I'm well aware of TODAY'S results, ya shitbird. I was asking if either Rutt or Mulder had PREVIOUSLY run a mile I have since learned that Rutt ran a 4:00.89 at the Armory in January whereas Mulder appears not to have run a mile at all, although I'm sure he did in high school.
And if Jeff Galloway can spell it "Phidippides," so can I. It may be a b*stardized spelling but it's acceptable.. Screw the ancient Greeks.
"Pheidippides (Greek: Φειδιππίδης, sometimes given as Phidippides, by Herodotus and Plutarch,[1]..."
So there it is.

Robby Andrews mistimed his kick here. He took the lead around the turn and appeared be working his late race magic again but he went to soon. Sawe, Rutt and Mulder all got past him.
Fernandez wasn't a factor in this one.

You got your nose so far up Robbie's sphincter you can smell his dinner.
When other runners fail to maintain or time their kicks, you always have them "spanked" by the winner etc.
Remember when Wheating mistimed his indoor finish?
I know Robbie is adorable and all, but wipe the brown off your nose.
There are different spellings of Pedepillies.
Back to running.
German brought his 1500 times down quite quickly last year. My only thought is that this may mean he missed more training.
Andrews ran OK but has a ways to go before becoming world class.
Good result for Mulder and Rutt.
has there ever been a thread on LetsRun.com where two people didn't start cursing at each other by page 2?

Lol, whatever bro. Pretty sure I was being ironical in choosing this name.

That's not what you wrote. To refresh your poor memory:

Have Andrews' fellow 800-meter specialists Rutt and Mulder ever even run the 1500 or mile?
Perhaps you should go back to first grade and learn the difference between the present perfect and past perfect.
Phidipidipshit - It was very obvious that Turbodouche was asking about Mulder and Rutt's 1500/mile credentials prior to yesterday. I would be willing to bet that you are the only person on the thread who did not understand. You can nitpick about grammar all you want, but you are still the loser in this battle. Surely, you are able to see that.

Yup.
Classic cannibalistic Letsrun thread. Way to go guys, you've outdone yourselves.

Actually, no. There is only one possible way to spell Pedepillies.
So, unless you show me a different way you are a MORON!
I seriously doubt he didn't understand. Pretty obvious he was pointing out his lack of mastery of the english language. Also he won.

Yes. The word "before" that I left off the end of my sentence was obviously implied. Is the guy seriously unhinged enough to think I hadn't seen the results and mentioned Rutt and Mulder by sheer coincidence? What would the odds of that be? There are some "special" people here, lemmetellya...
But back to running: Those are some very impressive results from those two. Sure, most 1:46 guys who are milers can run 3:57 and typically faster, but Rutt and Mulder came into the Penn Relays with a grand total of one 1500 or mile race between them since the beginning of college. Experience alone might turn both of them into
On another note, why not focus on the race winner? I checked the message board to see who won the race, not see how Robby Andrews and German Fernandez did. It's tabloid "journalism" at its worst.
That was Mulder's first open mile since HS.
He had run relay legs, but this is his first sub 4.
It's pretty funny that there are just as many posts in this thread on the correct spelling of Pheidippides as there are on the race itself.
Fernandez had run only a 24:40 8k or something like that this season, to my knowledge, so this 4:03 is actually a good sign, that he is getting healthy and I am sure that with continued health he will get a lot faster within the next two months. He ran 3:34 last summer after only about 4 months of health.
I also don't like the "mistimed his kick" line.
Maybe he just got beat.
slearly, this poor showing and injury is dave smith's fault.
LetsRun never ceases to amaze me - why not focus on the accomplishments that came to light in this event?
Three 800 meter specialists - Rutt, Andrews, and Mulder - all not only broke 4:00, but shattered it! Could this mean they could all be looking to take a shot at the mile at USA's this summer? a 3:57 low-mid at this point in the season is very encouraging for all three of these fellows.
