Bumbi in the 10000. Gerry obviously believes that Ritz is vulnerable in a kick finish. Rupp, Derrick, Bumbi for 10k Moscow team

Ben True, Jager, Levins, Bobby Curtis, Chelanga, Diego Estrada, Lenny Korir also in the field. True FTW over Levins and Jager.
You all need to realize Ben True is in much better shape than his 27:41.17 PR. Then you need to realize Ritz will never see sub 27. At least not this year based off his performances thus far.
He won a recent 1500m, easily, going away @ 3:40. He dusted the field. Strength = speed. He has tons of it.

No one cares about Bumbi, everyone shut the f*** up about him already. He's not even running the 10k at the trials. And besides...
WEBB IS BACK!!!
I got Pilorin in the 100.
Being a bit if of a cynic but 6'1" 160 lb Solinsky DNF after being nudged on the elbow by a 5'6" 120 lb college freshman.
Webb 14:15 and we hear the scream X 3.

I can say this right now, if Bumbi is running in the 10000, Rupp will make sure it is a 27:20 or faster race to ensure Bumbi won't be kicking against either him or Ritz. Add True in there and he will also ensure Andrew won't be outkicking him either.
My calls for these teams:
5000
Rupp, Lomong, Lagat (Derrick ALT)
10000
Rupp, Derrick, True (Bumbi ALT with Ritz on marathon training)
Webb came through the Bowerman Mile at 2:49 at three quarters? If he had just finished with a 55-56, that would have been an awesome time -- 3:44-3:45 -- wow. Still great race, but could have been one of the best ever...

63 seconds is not going to break Alan Webb. Alan Webb can eat a candy bar and run a 63.

Well played.
At 3200, Webb will sprint the next lap in 51 seconds and he'll manage to hang on and crush the entire field with a 12:43.

This reference rings a bell, where is it from?
El G Olympic 5k commentary
Last good time trial was 2007, 6 years ago. Web is a great runner, who runs great times. If he is going for a certain time, he will succeed. If he's trying to compete i.e. race, where the time doesn't matter, he will bomb.

I've got a feelin' like he'll do something along these line too. He's got a new baby/almost a toddler and he needs to establish his authority/dominance as the father figure. Nothing says 'no teletubbies until you finish you steamed, pureed carrots, or else' like a 12:4x.
Solinksy will be race savvy, fit and run well. Webb, this is his rust buster and he could run well or not.
Would love to see 13:35 or less from Webb and it's possible. Even if he does not do well here, he will be fit and ready to do his best in June.
I've been following the Oregon Project on twitter and there've been a lot of pictures of Levins training with Centro, Farah, Puskedra, and Rupp. I'd bet that Levins is probably a bit sharper than some of the other guys in the field. Levins FTW. I said True before but I'm changing my mind.
I feel like the Schumacher guys need to work on their sprinting speed more if they want to continue to compete with the Oregon Project. If Solinsky improved his speed a lot, he could be a world beater like Rupp. Galen's form has just become so efficient it's going to be impossible to outkick him.
in 2009, didn't Teg and Sol GO 1-2 with a 52 last quarter? And Teg was one of the better kickers in the world around that time.
Jager 13:15
Solinsky 13:55
Webb 14:10
Bumbi 27:40
hell no. solinsky doesn't have that type of finish. he may finished in 54.high
teg has finished in 53.x before.
Levins is the class of the field whether is sharper or not.
