Finally got sound on BBC radio and they went to commercial. My stream only showed women's race and commercials the last 15min., now back to men and there are only three with E. Mutai?!

I think Biwott could cause a surprise.

18:30?? 434 4th mile. I missed cumulative pslit but it was 434
2311 (442)
2755 - 444.
32:40 - 445.
37:22- 442. Pace is pretty much perfect. 442 is what you want to settling into.
42:11 - 449 for 9th mile.
46:57 - 446 for 10th mile - THATS 20305 PACE AT 10 MILES.!!!
5144 - 447 for mile 11th.
445 for 12th mile.
435 for 13th mile (61:05?)
I missed 14th mile.
Didn't see 15th mile split either???
9:15 combined for those 2.
1:15:09 at 16 for 449 last mile. So that would mean then ran 14 and 15 in 9:15
1:19:56 - 446 for 17
12442?? - 449 for 18.
4:52 at 19th mile.
455 for 20th mile.
The course record is 2:04:40. The question is will they get that. I mean they are basically on 2:03:45 pace but if you cough up that much you might not get it.

Wouldn't rule him out, but E Mutai really knows how to win on this course.
4:55 last mile
There are no commericals on bbc silly. Mutai, Abshero and Biwott in the lead 3
gelana jogs in
..and E. Mutai is my favorite
gelana finishing in 2:36:57
congratulations to her for still finishing, even when she knows she won't get first
maybe solinsky could learn something from her...
Here we go Stanley Vs Ayele
E. Mutai is an official pacer, right? Not in pacer vest.
They were all the time on wr course, but I think the sun starts to factor in, seemed to me in the women's race. ..Makau btw seemed to have left a lot in that berlin wr...
4:43 mile 21 Biwott away
4:40

455 for 20th mile.
443 for 21st mile. That injjection of pace has given Biwott at lead.
WTF - why was there a white guy ahead of him in the race???
Did anyone see that?

Ha ha - I have the vid on KiwiSportz with no audio (Eurosport/lots of commercials) and audio via BBC radio, who has elected to interview a runner dressed as a camel instead of covering men's race.
Stanley Biwott for the win
In case you're not watching at 30k the men's lead pack was 4:
Emmanuel Mutai (Course record holder), Stanley Biwott (58:56 at RAK half, Paris champ), Ayele Abshero (Dubai record holder), Feyisa Lilesa. Then it's a gap of 18 seconds to Tsegaye Kebede (Chicago course record holder). 6 more seconds to Wilson Kipsang, 21 more to Asmerom and 14 more to Mutai and then another 30 seconds to the Olympic champ Kiprotich.
Then Stanley Biwott started pushing. He's now in front. Probably 20 meters in front of Mutai who is 2 meters ahead of Abshero. Lilesa dropped harder.
And as Rojo said no way they get the WR.

The course record holder? Are you serious? Of course not.

Silly comment -- situations are not particularly related. What in the world would it matter if Solinsky waltzed in 10 minutes later? You are racing to win and to be at the front; when that is taken away from you in a track race it really does not come back and the race is over. You might also learn something, like how to write correctly; is the Shift Key not working or do you not know how to use it?

Yes. As could DNF Galen.
