I am proud of Jeptoo. In my mind the race was between Tiki Gelana and Jeptoo. After that fantastic half marathon at RAK in 66mins, I knew she was going to do something great here.

Not sure why they aren't giving mile by mile split.s.
Seriously?
I agree it would be nice, but the rest of the world doesn't care and barely knows about miles. Ask a runner from the UK about his per-mile easy run pace and see what he says.
Jeptoo ran 5:25 for 26 and the slight drop in pace is what caused her to just miss going under 2:20
2:20:15 for her.
Edna Kiplagt 2:21:32 in 2nd
As with Boston we need to see the top 20 women all finish and miss the men's race.

5144 - 447 for mile 11th.
445 for 12th mile.
435 for 13th mile (61:05?)
I missed 14th mile.
Didn't see 15th mile split either???
9:15 combined for those 2.

1:19:56 - 446 for 17
12442?? - 449 for 18.
30k split is coming up - 2:03:38 pace for 30k is 1:27:54 so we'll see how that compares.
Reminder: men's stream here for those in uk:
an expected speed up at end shoud get them wr

When you run way fast early on you do not necessarily speed up at the end.
E. mutai, abshero, lelisa, biwott in the lead pack. Pretty unexpected.

They should let me commentate. I'm way better than them. They are 5 seconds ahead of pace but running 10 seconds per mile too slow.

And someone earlier talked about Feyisa Lelisa.
He is not the guy who won the Boston Marathon.
Lelisa Desisa won the Boston Marathon.
Gelana is a boss for continuing after being run over bu a wheelchair.
Jeptoo with a good win. And great that Susan Partridge for Great Britain with a World Championships qualifying time.
