You forgot one: People who are realistic about things that will NEVER happen.

Next year is probably his last chance to make a dent into those 4 or 5 majors that he's still seeking. After next year, he'll be 40 years old, with a broken down body, a deep pool of competitors to fight through and a majors winless run that will be 7 years long. Game, set and match for Tiger if he doesn't get healthy and get his game back on track in 2015.
Almost a formality with the way he's been playing and the most recent injury, but a 74-74 = make some new plans because you won't be playing at the PGA Championship this weekend.
Will we see Rory McIlroy eventually pass Tiger and maybe even Nicklaus for most Majors?
He might. He is a little behind Tiger's early pace but assuming he doesn't win zero after age 34 or whenever Tiger's personal life imploded he will have plenty of opportunity to catch back up. Winning this weekend would be big. As we've seen with Woods, nothing is for sure later in life so strike while the iron is hot.
Worst round of his professional career.
With a guy of this all-world talent level you almost need to go with the "never say never" mantra, but along with the physical breakdown, he now appears to have the yips, which is a career ender.
With all that said, Nicklaus' record is safe and you now start to seriously wonder if Snead's record for tour wins is also safe from Tiger.

Funny how the original thread was deleted after a few folks on here had trouble understanding the difference between predicting something would not happen and saying that it simply cannot happen.
Well, anyway, the prediction stands. Tiger is 0 for 5 since I made it and will be 0 for forever when the dust all settles.
I think you're going to collect on your bet.
He looks like he's done.
The odds are certainly in favor of him not winning another major. However, to say that the greatest golfer ever(talent wise) will 100% never win a major is just ignorant. It is also honestly kind of pointless. We have to wait 5 or 10 years, in which case if he wins you will be nowhere to be find. If he doesn't, you will show up claiming to know something nobody else did. In reality you took a wild guess. Either way, nobody is going to give you a cookie.

Ah, the resident moron shows up. Now the thread is complete.
He won that Lindsey Vonn gal, so he doesn't need to win any more "majors."

Feel free to "try" to refute.

That's the point moron.
The OP made a prediction that at the time was very far from a slam dunk. As we stand here today, it looks very close to certain that he'll turn out to be correct and (figuratively) make good on his "bet".
Got that, moron?
Tiger is done. Aside form his self-made implosion, he was the victim of his own success. He attracted millions of kids to the sport, and made the entire game more athletic. It's way more competitive now and no single player will dominate like they could previously. Any given week now there are multiple 20 year old kids shooting mid-60s and not showing any intimidation.

Your post would only make sense if you said it 10 years from now and Tiger still hadn't won another major. I like your constant use of the word moron though, irony entertains me.

Well, Tom Watson almost won the British Open when he was pushing 60, so why take such a definitive stance on 10 years from now to decide things?
The trend is clear and its downward slope is becoming steeper each year. You may want to hold out hope for a different outcome, but you'll just be wasting your time.
Beyond that, you apparently aren't familiar with the definition of the English word "irony".
WDs in 1st Round at Torrey Pines while being +2.
He's done, folks.
That time of the year again
Jack Nicklaus was 46 when he won his last major (at the Masters, btw). I also believe that Woods will not win another major. He tinkers with his swing every season, too stubborn to work with a swing coach, bad back, putting is mediocre, distance off the tee is just above average today. He will win future PGA Tour events, but his major victories will remain stuck at 14.
I doubt Tiger will even have the desire or drive to win on the tour when he reaches his mid-40's. Phil Michelson is 44 and still remains a threat to win majors today, Tiger? Not so much.
Tiger will end his career as second best. The Golden Bear remains the greatest of all time.
His best chance is at Masters. Why? Most exclusive field, mostly by invitation only. And most players at the Masters are washed up former winners.
As for the comparison to Watson, Watson didn't wreck his knees playing GI-Joe.
0 for 13
He played pretty well though. It is definitely good for fans of the sport to see Tiger at least somewhat back.
