Women pouring it on, here they finally go. Making a run for the lead.
a bunch of guys got dropped by the looks of it, but they're sticking with the women's feed/Felix.
Good timing CBS--cut to commercials when the women are on Heartbreak Hill.
Looks like a real move now on the Men's side.
Felix starting to struggle - lot of running still to go.
Felix is suddenly looking bushed. Head wagging like Paula. That's new.
If Shalane had gone with Felix, they could have at least worked together. Now, Shalane's going to have to run 31:50 for her last 10k.
La Dolce Vita may take this!
Big surge in the men's race! This is it, those 2 Dickson Chumba blew it up!
Is it me, or is Felix starting to flag. Looks like she's struggling a bit more to maintain turnover and lift her legs...

Wouldn't be surprised if Felix doesn't close nearly that fast.
Is the hill but from here is supposed to be flat, she is looking better!

Boston is not a records eligible course.
No word yet on Shalane's coffee break.
Felix doesn't look at smooth anymore. She's looking back but no one is there.
Men's race now starting to string out again 1:28 into it.
And Rojo wants me to remind you his is updating things here:
http://www.letsrun.com/news/2013/04/2013-live-boston-marathon-coverage/
Here are Dulce Felix's last 3 miles: 5:37 (18), 5:31 (19), 5:39 (20)
It's hilly here. Interesting to see what 21 is, she doesn't look like wheels are falling off. We'll get a 35k split for the chase pack soon.

Yep, looking a little more ragged.
"our right, their left" -- thanks larry.
Chumba was Martin Lel's gardner!
This course is not eligible for Canadian records; may have been pointed out.
Hartman in 8th, see if he picks some more guys off.
Rawson on why the Kenyans dominate: "They're very light, lean people. Grab a bag of groceries and try and run 3 blocks down the street."
