Very discouraging with Ryan Hall hurt all the time and Meb and Abdi both getting up there in years (and injured off and on). Even Ritz had to drop out of the Shamrock Shuffle 8K with an injury. That's all the U.S.'s sub 2:10 marathon guys. So who are going to be our next top marathoners? Is anyone capable of breaking 2:10 out there right now? I know a lot of people are looking at Galen Rupp but he hasn't even run one marathon yet. Seems like we don't have many rising marathon stars.
