Can you see the races on runnerspace? Seems like site is down.
Good for her.
Obviously a 10:08 is not 'bad' but i was expecting under 10, nontheless a great performance and AWESOME negative split!
She also looked awfully relaxed, knight was with her a couple strides back until the 400m mark and then she kind of eased away into a kick
Big deal....she runs the same every year..boring

Yes...
and if you can't get to this site:

http://www.livestream.com/runnerspace2Me neither, the girl is lucky she hasn't faced Cain or Frazier on the track in the 3000-3200 or 2 mile. Her undefeated streak would be ended abruptly.
Baxter ducking cain and Frazier perhaps? Cain would ecstatic at the way this pace went out and frazier has shown she is one of the best from the mile low 4:4x to her 5k 16:18 feel like it would jave been a different race with any of those two in it. What baxter did is still impressive running a near 5 1600 to close, but it seemed she held back which was a little disappointing I was thinking mid 9:5x and then she let the others take up the pace

thanks. boys 3200 done yet?
Boys 3200m Seeded#1 goes off next.
Boys 3200m Seeded#2 goes off after that.
a couple of events between that race and the Boys 3200m Invitational, but it should start in about 35 minutes.
Boys 3200m SEEDED had two guys break nine.
Oh Please, Sarah ducking Mary Cain? Sarah just beat her in cross. Ya'll forget???? Sarah is much better than Mary.

She goes to the meets that her team goes to. Cain and Frazier don't run for their schools and can run where they like.
As a member of CIF you can only run a limited number of meets so if a kid runs an invitational on their own that meet counts against the school's total. She couldn't run out of state without hurting her teammates schedule.
Yeah, Sarah kicked Mary's bum in XC. Sarah is doing it right, coming along slowly (i.e. Jordan Hasay). Mary will be burned out or injured in a year or two. Mark my words.

and if you're wrong i bet we never hear from you again
The first mile was 5:09. That is not an ideal race for Sarah. She is not someone who will run 5:09 the first mile and come back with a 4:50 second mile. I still have no doubts she will break 10 in an evenly paced race. At the state meet she will take it from the gun if the pace is slow and not mess around with the rest of the pack.
breaking 10 off of a 5:09 would be tough even if shes in 9:50 shape besides, why waste the effort now when the win was easy? theres no rush for her to break 10. i doubt she even breaks 10 at states unless some other girl takes it out sub 5:05

The rush is that she only has a handful of tries before the season ends. Run the times when you can. You're not guaranteed more chances.

Last I heard this wasn't a time trial, it was a race, which she won. Mission accomplished.
