Wonder how clean these geezers are.
I'm curious if anyone familiar with the sport knows why masters swimming doesn't fall under USA Swimming which presumably does recognize the USADA sanction.

Having been a USMS competitor for several decades now and observing the steady drop in the sprint times in the older mens' age groups (and a few womens') I would say that steroid use is extensive among the "geezers".

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cycling/22023732Lance Armstrong has withdrawn from the Masters South Central Zone Swimming Championships in Texas this weekend after an objection from swimming's international governing body.
The International Swimming Federation (Fina) asked US Masters Swimming not to accept the disgraced cyclist's entry.
Fina state that the event is subject to the lifetime ban given to Armstrong by the US Anti-Doping Agency.
Armstrong was set to compete in three freestyle races at the Austin event.
So what's left? MMA, WWF, Poker?
Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the Eliptigo circuit.
Is he still a poon?
yes
Should he be allowed to compete is his dingus triathlons and swim meets?
yes
No. Being banned from all competition is a mild sentence. The scumbag has amassed an incredible fortune by fraud. Let him pay back the money and spend a few years in jail, then maybe I'll agree that he should be allowed to compete.
Yup, doping is the least evil but the best advertized of his deeds.
Seems he wants us to see him as a cheating doper rather than move up to the next crime up his long list.
