Is Becky running ?
Is Becky running ?
I think that Becky Wells is in Bowling Green, Ohio. I read somewhere that she training and hoping to race. Her sister, Cami Wells, coaches XC at Bowling Green.
Wasn't Becky Wells like a really really really good runner from S. Dakota like 10years ago?
I believe she was from or did her high school running in North Dakota. but yes she was very fast, and has a lil brother who is quite a talent as well.
She was a senior in '93
There was a Becky Wells who ran for Princeton. She was like a 2:04 half-miler.
The Wells that I am asking about ran for Florida.
Dickinson High School, Dickinson, ND.
I used to train with her highschool coach, who was a very good master's runner.
She ran about 4:44 in the mile in highschool and won Footlocker XC. Went to Alabama for a year a or two and then transferred to Florida.
Didn't she win NCAAs one year?
Had forgot about her younger brother.
I'm sure are right except for Footlocker XC. It was Kinney at the time but she didn't win. Amanda White won. Wells was down the list.
Becki won the USATF junior x country meet in 1993 in Missoula Mt. She ran for Wings(Native American team).
That's right, I forgot about Becky, is this the hottest girls list???
Becky Wells really went from a promising young runner to slipping farther and farther and just dropping totally off the map-when she was still down in Florida she had competed well for Nike and trained for J.J. and showed a great deal of promise-but the last few years she has dropped off the earth. No idea where she is at now-very nice gal though and pretty.
I think she ran the Foot Locker Midwest open race...
86th...19:06
Not bad considering she was the second female finisher overall in that race and not that far out of being the 1st place female.
looks like she is assisting her sister at bgsu:

also, i see that she has been planning to run xc champs in february. and from the pic below, becki was not the only wells sister to be bestowed with good looks:
Thanks for the update Magpie, I hope that she and her sister can continue their success and continue to be positive role models, for not just Native American youth but all our youngsters, I wish them nothing but the best in luck and health...
