Deena didn't broke 2:30:00 in london marathon 2010 houston 2012 la marathon 2013.
If she had been fresh the US would have gotten the bronze (they finished 17 pts out of 3rd) and Deena was 34th...
Passed a jay to her once. She definitely inhaled.
But she wasn't and they didn't.
I think Deena should have went as coach/advisor , she's made plenty of US team's. Give the younger athletes a chance and opportunity.
Incredible is all that can be said. What a time and what a run! CONGRATS DEENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and guess what when Deena was 20 she had to run against all kinds of older runners. .all generations do. Deena shows up all over the place like freakin FOOTLOCKER and talks to all the kids and stays in touch with them. She helps young upcoming runners all over the USA.I know because she has helped my young ladies as she responds immediately to them. She is the best you just have to meet her! Ya just fall in love with her...everyone does! 2:32 are you kidding me!
