Miner and Noelle going on a victory lap for beating a bunch of 1:53 guys in March. Now that is embarrassing.
It was actually funny. The thing is, at Hayward, the fans appreciate the runners so much...taking a cool down lap, that looks like a victory lap...the crowd is giving you a standing O...they embraced it. lol.
This meet has been hella entertaining, actually.

I enjoyed streaming the meet today. Heinonen was entertaining and knowledgeable at calling the meet. Who is this guy anyway? :)
Tom Heinonen, once an excellent XC runner himself (I believe from Minnesota), was the Oregon women's head track and field coach for 20 years or so. Now retired, he does much of the announcing for the Oregon meets. He's a bright guy, who is all business.
A Duck: it's Julia, not Julie.
Hopefully they will post Alexa's 1500, as it is the only race I missed and the best one, from the sound of it.

Victory laps are a requirement. Winner has to throw out a sponsor t-shirt.

Der, typo. Lame one too, I subscribe to her twitter feed and find her very entertaining / a good gal.
Some cool pix:
Loved how deep this meet was with all the young athletes getting into it.
3 mens squads in the 4x100!
2 in 4x400.
