I see she has a shin injury - didn't Paula run a marathon on a stress fracture at some point?
what makes you think Pamela Jelimo is dirty?
She is from a high-altitude country which, if i remember
correctly, you consider the main reason for the
east-African dominance. right?

NOP
fair enough
the fact of the matter is if nike nop are doping they can easily outwit the testers.
furthermore nike conveniently claimed to have beem misled by armstrong for 10 yrs
people will doubt them
here is an example of the type of thing nike could do to improve their image

Test Rupp, Bolt, Radcliffe and Makloufi every single day. If they are legit (hahahaha, hahaha, oh man, tears are coming from laughing so hard) then there is no problem. They should be happy to comply.
soo when is this going to be announced?
If Rupp tests positive, likely for something he didn't about, A Duck will have a heart attack.

This is an ongoing effort. The plan is to retest in the future as equipment gets better. Samples from 2005 are being retested. There is no end to the testing. No one is safe no matter how long ago they competed.
This has not been announced yet because its so big and involves some major athletes and one particular company is fighting behind the scenes with the federations and in courts to mitigate or eliminate some of these issues. Basically pulling a Lance - being defensive and aggressively fighting so hard as to indimidate and terrorize and threaten to pull all support from the sport if the busts are carried out!
I guess the thing that bothers me most is the insidious nature of even a hint of doping. It eats away at the very marrow, the foundation of the joy of cheering for a particular runner. There is this thrill to identify with them during a race, to imagine what it is like to actually BE in that race. But a shrill voice screaming “DOPER!” interjects your reverie and just totally F-ing ruins it! I hate that. Trust, faith, and confidence are all shot to hell. Ultimately, if the trust goes away, so too will the interest. Innocence lost. And down goes the sport.

I agree but the only way to solve this problem and end the doubts is to restore our faith in the testing program. The more dopers that get caught (including the big names), the more faith I will have in the system.
The latest round of 17 positives is good for the sport. I think we are slowly getting there.
and their sprint hurdlers
anyone ever notice how when rupp finishes is a race he looks totally spent when several of his competitors just before and after him from east Africa look like they just finished 1 lap in training intervals. It is pretty amazing, rupp is dead on the track and they are smiling and jogging after both just ran say 26:50 or 7:34 for example.

When I post a Whistle Blower hotline number it is for those anonymous people who post here claiming they have inside information or evidence.
Of course the USATF people are smart enough to judge serious tips versions cranks.
Balco was an anonymous serious tip, literally.
I don't care to read the type of thing Nike could to to improve their image.
I posted the information for communicating to NIKE so well meaning people like YOU could do it YOURSELF.
Evidently the Blojo's don't think you should have an easy one stop shopping source for encouraging Nike to do whatever, and encouraging IAAF to do more testing in E. Africa -- or whatever an individual persons personal suggestion is.
They just want to make money of of the occasional "Hot" thread baselessly accusing name athletes.
They claim to be so passionately anti-doping, and yet they don't empower you at all to support the cause.
A compendium of contacts, information, sample emails etc. could be put together.
Every good suggestion that people have had on these boards (as opposed to lies and smears) could easily be routed to the organizations that need to know fans support their anti-doping efforts.
LRC -- with their passion for anti-doping, could, and should be doing this job.
Absolutely shameful and lame that they delete a thread where people could find easily, in one place, "how to" "where to" and "what to" communicate to anti doping organizations and stakeholders.
All of the information was public and none of it was copyright.
Absolutely no reason for deleting the thread.
I didn't know I took that PED wrote:

The Brojo's have said that if Paula ever tested positive, they'd shut down LetsRun.com.
TRUE STORY.
I post that, and they keep deleting it.
If Rupp ever tests positive, I'll promise to leave this board forever.
And better than that, I'll promise to dump a bucket of something over Alberto's head.
15 years from now you guys are going to all feel like idiots -- because Rupp and Farah et. al ARE CLEAN, AND WILL NEVER TEST POSITIVE.

I do agree with what you're saying here. I don't think it's right to accuse random people with out evidence.
If there is a suspicion like the 1500 Olympic race, I think it's ok for people to say I think he is doped to the gills.
No worries, we cool. Appreciate your posts.

You just did idiot and A Duck agrees with you. Two idiots.

This is the type of post that is whole baked nonsense. The type of post that NEVER comes true.
The IAAF is going through the their protocols as they always do.
