Wow, didn't see that coming. Of course I know that Mikitenko is still good for a 2:26 but didn't expect that to be enough to be on the podium in a WMM. Well done.

Whoa! Such a good time for Dino Sefir! Obviously his 2:04:50 at Dubai last year must be legit and the course couldn't possibly have been short! Oh wait.
And the top two finishers in the men's race were wearing Adidas new Adios Boost, both setting course records. That shoe will have several records by the of the year, it's amazing. More energy return than any midsole material ever tested.

Both broke the course record. Only one set a course record.

Also Jonathan Maiyo(2:04:56 Dubai 2012) runs 2:10 and ran 2:09:19 in Berlin last year. I am yet to see anyone from these Dubai races(2012 and 2013) come within a minute of their Dubai PR in other courses. Ayele Abshiro will have to prove something in London in April or else we will have to take Dubai as a "fake" course. Not that we doubt some of these runners' ability. Maiyo is a superb half marathoner(59:02) and Tadese Tola is a strong 2:05 high-2:06 low.
