Sometime around my 4th year of running I shifted towards running on my toes, even during easy runs. I know this is supposed to be a little risky as far as getting injured, but it seems natural and I really like doing it; makes me feel light and springy. The problem is, most shoes aren't designed for people who run on their toes. I know there are some models marketed as being for "forefoot strikers", but does anyone have any recommendations from personal experience? I've had some trouble recently with achilles tendonitis right at the base of my heel.
