I admit I LOL'd at that.
Cain's converts to 8:55.81.
Imagine what she can do once she runs with the confidence and guts of a seasons pro and doesn't save so much for the last 200!
Zola's records are on the chopping block.

No need to convert. She ran the classic distance.
Wow! 15 years ago I ran 9:35 as a HS senior to win my county league and qualify for state.
wasn't the old record by Melody Fairchild? When I was in Junior high she was killing it here in CO
9:04.51 at 3,000 Meters
I predicted 4:05 for her this summer...may have to adjust this...downward!

No one cares. She ran a deuce and we all know that distance better than any stupid metric one. Proud to be American!

Thanks for the guidance. Even though I used the word "converts" I was confused as to how far she had actually raced today. I mean no one would wonder how a 9:38 deuce stacks up against a 9:02 3k because no one recalls Cain running that.
THIS BOARD NEEDS A BLANKET POLICY: BAN ALL BLOOMING IDIOTS FOR LIFE AFTER A SINGLE DAMN OFFENSE.
Why convert to some obscure metric distance when we already know that she ran 2 back to back miles of 4:49?
Splits??

Please sober up before posting. That way you might make more sense and fewer spelling errors. Thanks!

That just seems wrong. More like 9:01-9:02. Nice run though. She could be really good. Right behind Reid.
Could be?
So she left her high school team/team-mates to get a pro coach to break records she would have broken anyway...Hmmmmmmmm...
