Yo, Jim, how's it going? You still in the area, teaching yet? And running? :-) Noah is going to show up today (8/2)in Davenport, spend a day, and then look for a place to live in Iowa City- he can hang with Adam Roche, LOL.
I am not a HEHS alumni. Grew up in suburban Detroit, kids are York alumni. But got to know Mr. Rieff from all the meets we were at. He was a class guy.
AS for Newton's runners, only Marius Bakken made the Olympics. Sage has the potential. Jim White and Ron Craker were good collegiate runners back in the day. He has had a bunch of All-AMercians, for what it is worth, and in the past few years this includes Sage, Jim Costello (throws), Kyle Erickson (hurdles) and I don't know who else. Main thing is, he has plenty of people still running, many coaching, and is still hanging tough- we'll see if he hangs until he dies, though- he always said 25 titles and out.
