It is no longer a fair point; it is antiquated.

Sarah Jones winning that defamation lawsuit means that Robert and Weldon Johnson are now potentially liable for any anonymous posters / 3rd party content accusing innocent elite athletes of doping.
They don't have the balls to admit it on this board or change the boards policy officially, but you will note that this message will probably be deleted, and if you have been paying attention for the past few weeks, posts lying about, libeling and defaming elites are now being deleted haste for the first time in 13 years.
Feel free to speculate all you want in your man cave or your sports bar. Being a Snert and posting lies here...will risk legal action against LRC that could bring down the site entirely.
Not kidding.
Solomon suddenly world class and Rupp soloing 3.50 indoor miles - Come on Letsun, ask the questions!

Do you even realize you contracted yourself in two consecutive sentences? Of course not.
Feel free to file lawsuits. Your pockets better be deep, that's what attorneys want. No money, no legal action. -
Cram.
You think Cram was clean?
Last clean runner to hold the mile WR was Ovett. -

Nope. Your ignorance is astounding, fanboy. -

Haha, hilarious considering the following from Page 16 of this thread:

Well congrats to "A Duck" for posting 30 times on this thread since midnight.
This clearly for you is not about having a discussion but about all of us agreeing with your viewpoint. It's just not going to happen. Apparently we are all supposed to know magically the athletes it is ok to ask questions about and how many questions it is ok to ask.
You have not given any guidelines on how we are supposed to magically determine which discussions should or should not be allowed. Apparently limited Maklouhfi discussions are ok, but only in a limited manner.
On on top of that somehow we are supposed to determine the veracity of posts. You act like we're supposed to be able to determine whether a post is true or false. That is much easier said than done. We have said with doping threads we will have a more hands off approach. The pro athletes who make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year on the sport I think can handle it. -

I'm going to go with Bayi as the last clean mile wr holder.

Bumping this thread to show what a difference 5 or so months makes.
Rupp runs essentially the same time outdoors.

Bump. ^This is how it works in real life.
Great thread to have bumped - some classic stuff on here from A Duck. -

If rupp doped, then you would have to say that he has been doing so for over a decade and while a high schooler living under his parents roof. The guy was a 4:01 8:0x 13:37 highschooler folks! He ran 28:15 pretty much solo as a college freshmen. I believe he fell down in the race and had a massive negative split. He didnt suddenly get great, but he did recently graduate college.
His progression and consistency are perfect.

And this clown... Fast forward 3 years and there is physical proof that Rupp was doping as a high schooler living under his parents roof and Duane Solomon - he who was stagnant at 1.45mid until the age of 27 before suddenly ripping out a 1.42 can't even finish races despite some of the "best workout(s) of his (my) career".
I love the sport of track and field but lets face it, it is f$#ked at a pro level. That is just reality. -

Posting under numerous names. He part of the defensive shield Salazar has deployed. The shield includes Salazar family members, and some diehard fanboys. There aren't that many in the defensive shield, but by the using numerous posting names they make themselves seem larger than they are: much as an animal under threat stretching to appear larger, like a hissing cat. -
