Just like Wilson Kiprop was a threat to the 10k WR and going to run sub 26:30 in the Olympics, right?
...Right?
If you were a good student of the sport, you would realize that Ventolin has a point. Since when did we have an athlete win a top level competition in Kenya by such a margin? Btw, Kenya Police champs are currently the most competitive champs in Kenya, replacing the armed forces(Kenya Defence Forces)that dominated the national team in the 1980s, 1990s and a bit of last decade. Some may argue that Since the nationals are next month, athletes just wanted to make the Kenya Police team and therefore did not push themselves to the limit, saving themselves energy for the real deal. But everyone who knows Geoffrey Mutai, knows that the guy is dominant and is ever in shape(otherwise he doesn't toe the line). So for him to let Kipsang that far a head while still finishing second means Kipsang was just too good. We all wait for the nationals and if he wins by over 30secs, then no more questions about his intentions.
