That is the link for the 2003 golden spike tour, the dates are not listed yet, but for future reference. Depends on where you are at, but Univ. of Michigan has a good meet at the end of January, Red Simmons Invitational
http://www.mgoblue.com/track-m/02-03/schedule.htmlBetween the UofM and EMU guys, and sometimes the Hansons show up, this meet usually has some good races.
Hope this helps.
Well Sinatra, you should know (if you're a 4:03 guy) all about the New balance meet in NY at the armory on Jan 25th. contact ian brooks for info
tony bennett.
Ya yo. U Dub can host a fast one...
. . . still the only city with three great banked facilities.
For the last weekend in January, it's a "pick 'em."
B.U. is opening their brand-new jaw-dropping indoor track (in about a minute you'll forget the Armory was leveled) and is hosting, as is custom, the Terrier Meet. This meet is pretty big, and will be even larger than usual because IC4A's will be at BU this year and good teams will want to scope out the new track. Win the mile and you can get a facility record, although the collegiate competition could be fierce.
Then, on Sunday is the Boston Indoor Games at Reggie Lewis. If you want a old-fashioned showtime indoor meet this is an excellent choice. Last year Bernard Lagat won with a 3:55. That should be fast enough, yes ?
is this the guy with all the tatoos?
jan 25th is where its at.
i know for a fact that the mile there will be fast this year much like the past few years.
i bet at least 4 close to going sub 4.
Adidas meet may be over your head though.
go to terrier
Notre Dame has the Meyo Invite in early Feb, which may be a couple weeks later than you were asking about. The track is 5 laps to the mile I think and a GREAT surface. It has the potential every year to go sub 4, but hasn't the past couple (4:00 or 4:01 and 4:03, I believe). Personally I'd rather run on a bigger unbanked track like N.D. or Iowa State than a banked track.
just where the hell are you from? are you gonna heist the letsrun.com winnebago for a xc trip to break 4:03? whats your location, if youre around the mountain area, we gots hellsalota mitherage mileage goin down.... bro.
(choking, ... help**&^%%$^&)
ITS THE MILITIA!!!!!!!!!
Montana State has the fastest indoor track in the country, especially when the altitude chunk is taken off!
