Just a guess at least 20 teams will move up a division and 20 will move down a division.
Want until a DI team moves down to DII and wins or DII moves down to DIII and wins
I went through all the schools and there was only 1 (ONE!)
I repeat 1 (ONE!) school in the WHOLE state that had a substantial difference in boys and girls and was in a different division and that was a school with 294 boys and 468 girls. While the boys will definitely move up, they were still at the high end of Division II and may have even gained enough boys in the new enrollment numbers to move up.
All the other schools that may change divisions either way have ALREADY been right on the line of being in a different division. It makes no sense to have 50 schools in different divisions when they have almost the same amount of students of each sex compared to 1 school with a significant difference that would be bumped up to a tougher division.
Note-Claymont Urichsville has 289 boys and 193 girls but they are already both in DII and will surely stay there when they are combined.
