Great info in those threads, but I missed this anecdote; would be much appreciated if you can post a link.

All you guys are awesome!
You're awesome.
Ian please keep us updated on what you eat/what you do in between each run. If you want instant healthy energy have tablespoons of honey. How much water/other fluids have you been drinking?

http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=1925056It's about 2/3 of the way down the page.
how many beers you have so far?
Good luck man. Keep it up.
5pm run done. Did 3400 meters on the track at the park by my uncles place. I was hurting but ran faster then I should because there was a bunch of people out there playing football/flying RC helicopters/walking and I got excited.
I have been posting everything I ate. Its in here somewhere. After this is over I'll go back and put everything in order of when I ate it.
The chocolate milk seemed to be working. Also I'm still at my uncles house so the next 2 miles will probably be at the park too. Theres a lot of people there so it's a little easier to run.

About 15 oz of water between each run, except the last 2 because I only had chocolate milk. Like 10 oz.
I would try and eat peanut butter/honey/banana on toast. I have this every morning and can usually run soon after if necessary.
Don't eat honey as it would mess with your blood sugar levels.

That was 6 hours a day. How many miles did they cover?
huh, school bio say missed all 2011 due to injury. Can't find anything in this thread that would indicate why. your coach must be proud how you follow his training plan.
Seems likely the next few runs will be the toughest: darkness is setting in, temp dropping, obviously the fatigue is becoming more and more of an issue. But hang in there and keep eating what you can. You'll be on cloud nine when you're done!
It's nice to run at night though.
Very peaceful.
Be sure to carry a small flashlight to be seen.

I want the movie rights to your day.
Am I the only person that used Ian's challenge as inspiration on their run today? And I only ran 4 miles.
Any gatorade/powerade today??
you are a champ. Keep it up, bro!
6pm run done. Did the 1.85 mile figure-8 at the park and then ran to the track and did a lap.
