Is there any word on open throws positions? I'm not sure if the job a Tenn is still open along with Ole Miss.
Where was the Northeastern job posted?
What's the deal w/ the Cal State LA post? Is this just formalizing last year's late hire or is this one really open again?

Hmm. A jumps and hurdles coach for a distance only team. Former Boise AD goes for the guy he is familiar with. I wonder if Patti Sue even got an interview. I know for a fact she applied. Time will tell.
he shoulda went with brad wick.. hes familiar with him....
Heres two scenarios that can happen:
1) Petersmeyer hires assistant coach with distance experience like Brad Wick, but that kicks out the current assistants.
2) Petersmeyer simply relies on the current assistants.
At least hes young.
True. Wick would have been great. Not a bunch to do for the HC if he has assistants coach the distance runners unless they are going away from the distance only plan which was in stone a year ago. Already heard from two friends who applied that did not get a call back and both are assistants coaches at D1 schools in Cali. I will try to find out if Patti Sue got an interview. If not, it seems this was a done deal for the Boise coach from the start. Some friends that are alums thought that was the case when they hired a Boise St. Assistant as the new hoops coach.
I knew the AD was gonna hire someone from Boise. But I never thought he would hire a jumps coach.
My friend who is on the team said he's gonna see Petersmeyer this Friday. Maybe he'll find out more information about Petersmeyer's plan for SJSU.

Vaughn and the non-distance assistant are off of the website. Curious...
There are a large amount of throws positions unfilled at this point.

Iowa State
Boise State
UCF (Maybe?? Not sure whats up there)
Clemson
Texas
Dayton
Northern Illinois (All Field events)
Central Michigan
Toledo (Maybe?? Depending on what areas new coach wants to hire assistants for)
Lots of movement about to happen!

How do you know that the pros positions at Iowa State and Boise State are open?
The Throws positions that is. Oops.......
Tennessee throws position is filled. Announcement by Friday.
Throws coach at ISU is staying on.
Word is that John Newell from Michigan State could be headed to Tennessee.
Your correct. I don't know for certain. Like every position people post about on here I am speculating. I would assume many people would not want I stay on to work for Martin Smith. But as mentioned Grant might be staying. I did hear however that Boise would be a change. Can't verify that for sure. I would assume that Grant could go to Boise with coach Ihmels if he wanted too. Again, I am just speculating and making assumptions here.

Texas is going to hire on a throws coach? Mario just became the head coach I'm sure he would keep his role of throws coach with the squad he has.
As for the rest of those I'm interested to see who goes where and for a few of those I'm surprised they opened up they had some decent coaches there.
Thanks. They were both still listed when I looked a few hours ago...
