True enough, but just to be clear, Connie is a great Head Coach! Both Jon and Connie (and the entire staff) are a true credit to our sport.

Let's discuss Toledo. What's the deal there... would be really great women's gig with good recruiting potential and great facilities
Any word on the position at Boise State?
Word is Doug Reynolds.
The (boogie man) could be headed to Ole Miss if 100k is available to him. Rock Light to Adams State as head track coach.

Travis Floeck in the Glass City maybe??
The Toledo Job will go to someone who has established themselves as a great distance coach. That person will need to replace a great distance coach and win over a program that seems to be loyal to the previous coach despite all the controversy.
That job seems to be wide open. For reasons that are obvious to some of us in the Midwest that know the whole story, there are no previous assistants that are in line for that job. It seems as though this is truly a national search.
As a long time MAC alum i hope to see that program get a coach that can try and keep their tradition going.
Rumor also has it that there could potentially be an opening at CMU.
maybe ron davis could get that job lololol. i heard he's got some interviews.
Any word on the UC Merced cross country position?
Has the NYU position made any headway? What are they looking for?
Good points about Toledo, Cross Hogg. While Kevin certainly wasn't a "name" coach when he came to Toledo, he certainly grew into the job as a distance coach. Ironically, his own background was as a combined events athlete. It's a great place to recruit to and train athletes and one would hope that a nice program would continue to thrive.

The Toledo job is one of those rare mid-major programs that is a national level job. I agree with Cross Hogg as it would be great to see the program continue to thrive. Kevin had his personal struggles that ultimately led to his downfall. Very few of us believe half the BS written about him but I hope he gets his life together regardless if he coaches again. He always made everyone laugh and was always quick to encourage me and other coaches.
What's the word at Pueblo? Who're they interviewing? Also, who's Barnier going to keep at Abilene?
Has the NYU position made any headway? What are they looking for?

This is the most ridiculous job posting ever. Part time in New York City?!?! Crazy. How does anyone expect anyone to work "part time" (read 40+ hours/week) on a part time salary in New York. Sad, really.

Don't know if it's been posted but Villanova....

I believe it's already filled.
Travis Floeck is nothing but a gopher. His ability stops after creating low jack Runnerspace pages. He has no resume to speak of and it is an insult to utter his name in association with a real DI coaching position. He is nothing but a title holder at OSU, which is not doing much to speak of anyways.
