What about the biggest one of them all. Heard that Ogilvie at Duke won't be re-upped. If true, this is big.

Don't know how but lets run gets it right all the time... What about SCSU?

This is a position posted for a female. It could be any event area just female.
Other required qualifications include 3-5 years of Division I coaching experience; strong technical and tactical knowledge in teaching and coaching track & field\cross country in the areas of cross country, middle, and long distance running...
Anyone know what is really going on?

Hiring an assistant to help with women.

First they are told they need a female/minority, second they need someone who can assist in XC but has experience in the multis. There is a temp assistant coach in the multis currently on staff. His contract was 10 months in length which is coming to an end.
Let's not forget to add Illinois to the list of jobs open.
Saw a posting for Northern Illinois- multis.
So who should Illinois go after, to fill their women's position ?
Where does it say there is an opening at SCSU?
South Carolina State University.
Listed on USATF coaching jobs.
Northern Iowa (UNI) should be looking for a new head coach after failing to win a conference championship since Travis G. departed for Arkansas.
Ron Davis one and done. Heard it was a mess this year but to be fired so quick is a surprise. They need a young coach who can recruit. Plenty of money to throw at recruits and women's track starting next season.
Where is Northern Illinois posted?
Heard the same about San Jose State this season but did Davis get fired or quit? Either way that hire made no sense last year. I know there's a ton of young and quality coaches who want that job so hopefully they pick someone better this time around.
I have a friend who is on the SJSU team. He told me that after spring break. Ron Davis wasn't at practice. No one knows why. Apparently there were some issues or drama between him and athletics. Everyone didn't know SJSU is looking for a new coach until a few days ago when people on the team saw the posting on the NCAA website.
As a student of SJSU and a follower of SJSU Athletics, Gene Bleymeier (the current AD) wasn't there when SJSU hired Ron Davis. The previous AD hired him and then left for Memphis. Gene Bleymeier has made some great hires so hopefully he finds the right guy. My friend thinks he might even hire guys from Boise State because he did hire guys from Boise State.
What's the word on SC State? I heard the head was on the way out a while ago.
Anyone know what's going on w xc/distance at Lafayette? Just promoted long time asst. to director but she appears to be primarily field events
More drama at SJSU as Ron Davis is suing over wrongful termination.
