Very true. Having a good fit is well worth it. Only that coach can determine what this is for them. That we should all have such a blessing. Best of luck to Coach Lofton wherever he lands.

So taking a job at a Christian based D-I school and support your family or wait for a bigger school to hire you. hmmm What a comment by a young coach obvious still looking for a job. Coach Lofton will do a great job at CSU. It is not all about the school name if you really want to coach and develop athletes.
What is going on in the Big Easy. Anyone get an interview for New Orleans yet?
While CSU isn't a Major D1 program, they do have a long history of sending athletes to championship meets. I think, after last year, they have sent someone to either NCAAs, USATF Jrs, or USATFs the past 6 or 7 years in a row. Baptist College, before it was CSU, was on the cover of Sports Illustrated 3x in the 70's and 80's. They used to host teams such as VT, THE Ohio State University, UCLA, etc... Sure, it's not on the same level as then, but they are still a very respectable program.
Mike Erb to UNO...
Heard that Air Force is hiring an asst. cross country coach. is this true?
Anyone have any news on the New Coker College Program? Could be a good opportunity for a young coach to jump to a Head Coach position.
An asst. to Juli Benson?
UNO as in New Orleans or Nebraska-Omaha?
So we have rumors of New Orleans being filled and Duquesne and SIUe coming open.
Kent State has director of ops open?

SIUe will be an Interim coaching hire / shuffle of positions for at least the short-term, maybe the long-term.

My friend on the SIUE team confirmed the report that Coach Jackson has accepted position at Wisco, and added that the Cross Country Head Coach has been named Head Track & Field Coach.
What is the pay difference between a school like SIUE and being an assistant at Wisc?

Niagara University filled...got the rejection email. I wonder what lucky female is the winner for this job?
Well from the looks of it a real lucky one. She should play the lottery. With that luck, she would win 400 million. And no, you turds, I did not apply or get rejected. I am just being a cynical old b@$tard.
No, not looking for a job. Employed in the area and would be surprised if he took the position. A cursory evaluation of their TFRRS results from last year show that they are decent, no Abilene but decent. Props to the man if he is looking to support his family, just thought he might make a bigger jump.
Randolph to Virginia. Great hire by Fetzer.

Just read the bio for Christine kloiber the new niagara hire. 10 years of college coaching experience. Built and developed her own program. Good longevity and history at one school all that time
I'll be honest she looks to me like a very good hire. Sorry you did not get it but she appears to be extremely qualified.
Good for Willie and good for UVA. Wah-Hoo-Wah

It won't take Willie long to start telling everyone how to do their job. Unless Fetzer can put him in his place this spells trouble in Cav land.
Reading these replies you would have the impression that any coach who is a bottom of the conference cellar dweller knows everything, and anyone who wins titles is a bum. I've never seen more haters find more problems with people than this motley crew here.
