I currently run for Nick at NYU. No email was ever received, this rumor is completely false. He is staying at NYU.
Anybody heard about UNO yet?

I can speak for this guy. My coach is friends with McDonough and called him this morning, said the story is totally false and he did not even apply for the job.
Any word on Charleston Southern Men's head coach? Word is that it's narrowing down, but who?

Good to hear, tough for a guy out of New York to transition to Kentucky. He wouldn't know what to do with himself out there. Too much of a New Yorker to change at this late date....

It's worked out well enough for Rick Pitino.
This story sounds like a bunch of doo doo.

From what I've heard, they're in talks with a high school coach from Baton Rouge.
if thats true then what happens to the distance program there?
Nick from NYU didn't apply for a DI job that came up? Really? That guy has applied for every DI job for the past 10 years. He's so hung up on DI that he doesn't realize he has it pretty good at NYU. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. The grass is green where you water it dude!
If he applied for every d1 job...I'm willing to be he would have a D1 job by now.....
"Should actually be a pretty quiet year since there were several big changes last year."
From the second post on this thread. Yeah, I'd say that's about right.

57 mile commute.
BEARCAT TO NORTHEASTERN
Trust me, I'm not disgruntle, I'm excited about where i am in my profession, plus my kids would mop the floor with LSU and Ohio st. Show me the results of his successful recruiting. what big name kids has he gotten does he even have any All- Americans?
What are the best coaching jobs that are still open or just opened up?

Good question. And who are the best coaches out there who are looking?
Exactly who have you coached? And I hope you are comparing apples to apples making bold statements like you did? KD has developed some real good 800m athletes in the 2 schools he was at. (not to mention the whole Olympic stuff) He actually DEVELOPED them up to huge PRs and didn't just inherit stud 800m athletes. Obviously the programs he work at had more of a sprints emphasis so he didn't have many long distance athletes. So, I'm wondering what events your athletes competed that will mop the floor with his athletes and the athletes at LSU? Last time I check LSU has had a fair amount of success in the 800m as well. For saying your not disgruntled, you seem awfully concerned with KD's so called "lack" of credentials.
