I saw this guy run 1:48 on a cinder track in Springfield Mo. in like 86 or 87. I think he beat Jason Pyrah in that race. The Ozark conference was pretty tough that year, Pyrah put up a 4:03 or 4:04 mile.

He ran 1:49 as a senoir for Parkview High School in Springfield, MO. He went to Arkansas for a year or two but did not enjoy it. He then attended Southwest Missouri State. He droped his time a few seconds I think. I am pretty sure he is working with his brother in the steel industry now. He is no longer running. Hope this is to some help.
