The Schumacher guys said they planned to run the first half in 65 to 66 minutes.

Just saw this from @WataruOgushi:
"At 10k, lead pack 30:13, Reid,Lemoncello,Overall,Vail 31:05. Bairu,Brent,Nelson 31:27.#Fukuoka"
That was obviously a bit ago, but the Schumacher guys aren't going with lead pack, which is probably smart.

Thanks for the link. What language is that?
60:25 lead pack 20k
Lead pack through 20k in 1:00:25.
63:45 at halfway point
Pacer? Yuichiro Ueno - looks like he slowed or stopped at 21K

all the guys in the lead pack WONT come back, some might, but not all, if they wanted to win it is NOT a smart move.

If they wanted to win, of course not. But considering the marathon has pretty much ruined Bairu and Nelson for the last two years, and it's eluded Vaughn so far, there's no reason whatsoever for them to think they could compete for the win. A solid 2:10-2:12 would be a huge improvement for any of them based of their previous marathon experiences.

I think Szost and Baranovski.
1:15:38 @ 25k for the leaders.

probably dmitry baranovsky of unkraine and henry szost of poland, both have gone 2:07 before.
I would not be surprised if the pace picked up after the pacers leave.
