I saw that. Is he just that much better at XC than track? Or did he have some problems after XC last year? He's obviously improved but last year he was killer in XC but not in track. His best track season was indoors with his 9:21. The way he's running XC wise you'd expect maybe sub 9. Anyone know about his season last year?
-----------------------------------------------
Had the fastest Mass 2 mile early indoors then, i believe,
he got sick and never regained his fitness thru outdoors
Funny thing in Mass, Colin Bennie Wachusett 3rd at NE-NXN
is the defending outdoor 2mile champ 9:07.44, and has split 1:51.5r) has been handled easily by Green all year,
doesnt run indoors, he plays ice hockey--go figure
Hope he doesnt this year, could set up a replay of
Powell vs Sanchez '99 when they went 8:49.60/8:50.29
Oh, by the way Green bested the course record at Gardner GC
All State meet record held by Powell/Sanchez 14:00/14:01, by ten seconds 13:50
Should be fun to see how it evolves indoors FWIW
