bump
I have no idea what this is but it sounds good.
double bump
rupp is running leadoff, correct?
I think Rupp is fourth or fifth leg. 10k
Just read about this race. Interesting. I thought the Rupp posts were a joke lol.
Rupp is running 5th. The Ekiden Relays in Japan are great, they are almost like a National sport there. The last time I was in Chiba, they estimated close to a million spectators were on the streets, often 6-8 deep, and also live on National Television. Still no luck with a livestream for tonight, unless someone can figure out how to access FujiTv. There will be coverage on Twitter @JRNLive.
Does anyone know how to get a Fuji TV stream? Is it on keyhole?
I found it on Keyhole it is one of the channels near the bottom.
link please
You have to download keyhole from here http://japanrunningnews.blogspot.com/2007/01/watching-japanese-race-broadcasts.html
Robertson leading? Wow
Zane Robertson opened up the first 5k in a 13:29 a 29 second pr. He had a good gap on everyone including a 12:49 guy and 37 seconds in front of the US.
US in 9th after first leg. Thanks a lot Strang.
Japan in first but Gladys Cherono (Kenya) looks to be gaining on her. The New Zealand girl lost the lead Zane got. I am still shocked to how easily Zane dropped Longosiwa. Lets see if Jake can match his brother when he take the next 10k.
It's under Watch 53 for those who have keyhole downloaded
Gladys Cherono (Kenya) just took the lead a little after 3k into her leg.
Reilly pulling the US back up to a more respectable position.
The US is 44 seconds down and Jake Riley is running this leg.

Something must have happened to Longosiwa. It's not like Robertson or other runners in the lead group attacked, but Longosiwa suddenly slowed down dramatically.
