make a law that says there will be zero tax increases in the future then. until u make a promise that your rhetoric will not increase anymore, i don't want that encroachment on people.
what i don't want is a trend toward a communistic average, you can use the same exact arguments again and again as the tax hike snowballs and increases again and again to 43%, 46%, 50%, 60%.
I understand what you are saying, but......
* Since there has never been a period in our history where certain individuals could not become obscenely wealthy, often earning 1,000 x what the average american makes, it seems a very odd thing to be worried about.
* Especially when the trend of wealth inequality between the top 1%, or even top .01%, compared to the poorest americans has grown and grown in recent years, only being outpaced by the period before the Great Depression. An example of this is the oft-cited difference in pay between the average CEO and the average americans:
" CEO pay spiked 725 percent between 1978 and 2011, while worker pay rose just 5.7 percent, according to a study by the Economic Policy Institute released on Wednesday. That means CEO pay grew 127 times faster than worker pay.
Income inequality between CEOs and workers has consequently exploded, with CEOs last year earning 209.4 times more than workers, compared to just 26.5 times more in 1978 -- meaning CEOs are taking home a larger percentage of company gains."

ANd yet you are worried about america becoming too equal, a trend toward communism, and the lost of opportunity for a select few to become 100's to 1000's of times wealthier than than the average american?
It's like someone convinced you to be worried about the bogeyman in your closet when you have carbon monoxide poisoning leaking into your house, have mega high cholesterol, and drive 3 hours a day on a dangerous highway. YOUR WORRIED ABOUT A TEA-PARTY NIGHTMARE FANTASY SCENARIO THAT ISN'T TRUE AND HAS NEVER BEEN TRUE, WHILE THE COUNTRY HAS MUCH BIGGER WORRIES.
