Dartmouth's men, who didn't project to have a whole lot of returning firepower this year, have had a very solid season. Props to them and their coach(es).
The coach seems solid and like a genuinely nice guy - not a slick salesman who is more interested in his career than the runners like so many other coaches. And no one in the ivy league ever hates Dartmouth or Brown really so I'll admit the team was solid as usual.
But they had a decent arsenal coming back.
http://www.tfrrs.org/view_list.html#21They had Royer coming back - he ran 14:07 in 2011.
They had B'day who beat the Olympian Donn Cabral to win the 3k indoors and ran 1407 last year.
They had Gault who broke 30:00 last year and then there were 2 more sub 14:30 guys.
Certainly nothing by Princeton standards and who can beat Columbia when all they do is distance but they looked like a 3rd place team coming in on paper and that's where they finished. They did pretty good since I haven't seen Bday running. Who is Georgan?
