I finally got the video on my i-phone to work.

This is arguably the best single line I have read in a while on this site. Just the hilarity behind it is classic. I can imagine Wejo laughing as he typed it.
Funny indeed - or sad. I guess it's true for LRC at times.
Weldon has now put me in charge of figuring out what elite women are here. He said is our #4 pick Tatyana Arkhipova - in the field? I said I have no idea what she looks like unless i can google her pic which is hard to do on my palm pixi.
But I do see a white woman in the lead pack that's not Kim Smith so it has to be Arkhipova.
So Arkhipova is here as it's not Hastings. Has anyone seen Hastings or Pritz?
Post a picture on the LRC twitter?
Is the guy on in-line skates still rolling along in the lead pack?
pics or this thread is useless.
Maybe someone can yell at Deba to only pace the women. It won't be fair if she wins the whole thing.
Give her, her appearance fee, let her pace.
Anonymous has hacked the brojo's accounts even though the hacker group could care less about running.

As for Kim Smith a lot of PR firms do the tweeting for agents. When Ryan Hall pulled out of Chicago last year we were getting emails from the PR firm about him still being in the race.
There isn't always real time communication between PR firm, agent, and athlete.
Hall ran 2:08 in Chicago last year... or did the real-time communication just not catch up yet?

That's a good idea but New York is known for not having pacers.
I bet I could convince the runners to giver her $25k if she makes it 20miles but don't know if NY would like this.
Finally the end to the last bit of credibility Weldon and Robert had in the sport.
Come one be serious. No one attacked anyone on the course. We've removed that post.
Men are past half-way. will update with 20k and half marathon splits.
Hall's course record is going to get crushed if this keeps up.
Ok 20k was 60:15 (so that 5k was 14:50, the fastest of the race).
Half marathon in 1:03:13.
Abdi and Meb still with the leaders. Scott Bauhs leads 2nd American group in 1:04:57.

"Couldn't care less"
Go Scotty! Sub 2:10 on this course would be an incredible debut.
Chico! D2 Rules.
Can we see some pics? One of you must have a camera.
They finally got a aid station set up and just before the lead women get to it Renee Baillie comes out of the crowd and knocks over all the bottles. Then stops and tries to trip Hastings and Pritz.
The Olympic Trials course was actually 5 loops in the park!
Rojo has a palm pixi. That thing doesn't take pics.
And unfortunately with the hurricane the data on my phone doesn't work.
FYI Hall split 1:06:17 on this course at the Trials and then went 1:02:45 the 2nd half.
If these guys go that fast they'll run right around 2:06. I'm predicting 2:05 low.
It's true, just caught this pic of Ryan Hall on the bike.
GO RYAN HALL YOU ARE THE MAN DUDE
THIS IS NOT REAL
