Again, his only mistake was calling himself a serious runner. That should not need to be said. Use this as a guideline:
1) Don't call yourself serious or accomplished, especially when comparing yourself to others you believe aren't. Too arrogant.
2) Assume that most of the people here are "serious runners".
3) Ask a question, post a response, say that someone choked, but don't, I repeat DON'T put the focus on you or your accomplishments. If you do that, you had better have a real name so we know who you are and the credentials to start preaching to all of us.
4) If you find a need to come here and try to demonstrate how great of a runner YOU are, then you need to evaluate your life, see what is missing and try to fill in that gaping hole.
5) If your name is Scott Fry and you want to tell us a thing or two about training, then fine. If your name is NOLIMIT and you want to pump yourself up as some great runner and put others down, then you deserve all the slamming you get.
