"Roacha (all american next year)"
----------------------------------------
American Frosh have a way of being not being major factors in the NCAA. Two good examples are champs Cuffe (Stan) and Seidel (ND).
It isn't the extra 1000 meters it's the increase in mileage, getting used to school (the whole 9 yards).
Rocha or any Fr. will probably be fortuate to finish in the top-100 (no knock on her ability). It's just a different ballgame.

Umm... ever heard of Laura Hollander?
She also did the same at UCONN - an unofficial and official and I heard it came down to either PC or UCONN.

keyword there was "heard" not confirmed. I know my stuff don't question it.
Ryan Kromer to Wisco.

If true (I have no reason to believe that it isn't), that's a huge get for the Badgers. Kromer's father ran for Minnesota and Hudson, WI is maybe 25 miles from Minnesota's campus.
Kromer's track PR's (4:14/9:19) aren't that impressive (relatively speaking), but he tooled a quality, deep field at the Wisconsin State XC's, and then finished 9th at NXN and 8th at Foot Locker. The dial with this guy is pointed straight north.

Ummm...Yes I have. Amazing year!
I've also heard of Sarah Collins.
My statement was based on years of seeing premier girls not do well at the NCAA as Fr. some of whom went on to be AA's as upperclassmen.
Rocha may be a big talent but I'd be stunned if she had a difference-making season in her 1st-third months of being a college student.

HUGE gain for PC I think that PC is the favorites for nationals next year returning collins sisson nagle and picking up Roacha (all american next year) Erba and Fanning will be big for them.
This girl has a ton of talent and will be a force in the NCAA. She hasnt even approached her ceiling
i agree about the great talent in rocha. unlike most of footlocker girls, who have under-fed bodies pushed by perfection-obsessed minds, this roacha girl has high athletic ability. her natural talent reminds me of jenny simpson.
when i saw roacha running in that footlocker uniform, images of jenny barringer pops into my head.
Jacob Burcham commits to run for Oklahoma Sonners!

I think Rocha is a key get for Providence. They'll have Sisson, Collins, and Nagel way up there next year, but they really need a strong 4th and 5th. Hopefulyl Rocha, Erba, or Fanning can fill those gaps. Jillian Fanning's junior XC campaign was incredible, but she hasn't shown she'll get back to that level...I think it's fairly obvious Ashley Erba has an eating disorder, but I think she's a real talent and hope she recovers and can contribute. The safest bet is on Rocha, who is clearly on the upward swing.
Oklahoma will finish with Baker (TN) Burcham (WV). Is that a top 5 recruiting class right there?
I was happy to hear that Rocha chose Providence College. It is really no surprise that she turned down Boston College. I have never really heard anything positive about the coach there. Isn't the story "She was once A Runner" about the BC program?

V.very difficult school to get into.
I don't even know who the BC coach is but So. Westfal (Fra) just finished something like 8th in the Euro jr's 2 weeks ago and I think they have a couple of talented RS.
So they should be good next season and would likely be top-10.

Does this mean that 9 yards is harder to handle than a thousand meters?
I know julia has got some full scholarship offers, (she goes to my school) i can't remember them atm though.
Anyone got any insight where Kendall Williams from Georgia is being recruited? Or some of the schools on her list.
And the same for Carla Forbes from Massachusetts, I think she is a Jumps. I heard she visit UVa.
Oregon for sure Oregon owns the Multi's
That is true, Oregon do own the Multi's, but that is a long way from home for daddy's girl and a very close net family.
