What do you consider high mileage for high school? My guy ran 50-60.
Look at the times. The first 30 people were within 8 seconds of first at 4k. So So the first 5 teams were pretty much indistinguishable at that point. But it's interesting that things stayed in about the same order as it spread out over the second half.
my definition of high mileage is 60+mpw. Several of the guys who ran were under 40mpw in high school.

Mileage is just one variable and not always negative. Since when is aerobic development a bad thing?

I wonder if VT is getting more and better recruits out of VA due to JMU and Richmond no longer have a team. Seems like you only have a few competitive options if you want to run in the state.
